Using an editing tool like Photoshop, set the dimensions, resolution and colour profile of the artwork. The higher the resolution of the image, the more leeway you’ll have when it comes to choosing the size of the print. Make sure you are using a camera that takes photos in RAW format and in high resolution. To convert an artwork to digital format, you will need to either scan it or photograph it. The Guardian is loosely inspired by the fairytale character: ‘Snow White’ and her connection to animals, The Guardian is a depiction of how I would wish for all humans to behave – to love, care for, and nurture every living creature.
